Ess-Na-Crub Waterfall, Glenariff (i)

£15.00Price

‘Ess-Na-Crub’ waterfall is within the beautiful Glenariff Forest Park, Co. Antrim. The name ‘Ess-Na-Crub’ means ‘the fall of the hooves’. Glenariff derived it’s name from the Irish name Gleann Aireamh, meaning the “valley of the ploughman”. Like all glens in the Antrim area, it was shaped during the Ice Age by giant glaciers. Glenariff has become known as the ‘Queen of the Glens’, as it is generally regarded as the biggest and most spectacular of them all. The beauty of Glenariff Forest Park provides visitors with an abundance of panoramic landscapes, peaceful riverside walks and three spectacular waterfalls, including the pictured ‘Ess-Na-Crub’.
